Tamil Education Service Switzerland (TESS) offers Tamil language courses for children ranging from Kinder Garden (KG) to grade 9, equivalent to secondary school level, as part of the HSK (Mother Language and Culture) education programs administered by Cantonal Education Departments. In response to the considerable demand for Tamil language and cultural education, additional courses have been provided for adults, specifically Grade 10, Grade 11 and Grade 12.

These courses aim to enhance proficiency in Tamil language and prepare both current and prospective Tamil teachers. In order to continue offering these adult education courses and establish a Bachelor’s Degree program in Tamil language, as well as Tamil Arts and Culture, the TESS have founded the Institute of Languages and Culture (ILC).

ILC offers Tamil Language, Arts and Cultural higher education programmes worldwide.
