This course is designed for adults those who have successfully completed grade 9, secondary school level in Tamil as mother language (HSK). Completion of module 1, 2, 3 will be the basic qualification for a Bachelor Degree in Tamil or Teaching Diploma in Tamil.
Module 1 - is part 1 of the Pre – Higher Education in Tamil Language
Subjects taught: Tamil grammar, literature, Arts, culture and history.
Duration of Studies: One academic year (two semesters)
Teaching method: Face to face teaching 3 hrs. per week plus individual learning or hybrid learning including face to face teaching, online teaching and individual learning.
Examinations: December and may
Locations: Students can select the location convenient to them from out of the list attached
Start of studies: June
Course Fee: CHF 4:00 per hr.

Medium of Instruction: Tamil
Duration of Studies: 120 ECTS; 3 Years / 6 Semesters
Mode of Delivery: Hybrid Mode (Both physical and virtual sessions)
Locations: Gewerbestrasse 4, 8162 Steinmaur in Switzerland and a location in each other counties will be decided according to number of applications of the particular country.

Admission fee: CHF / EUR 50.00
Course fee: CHF /EUR 600.00 for a semester (including course materials and examination fees)
Entry Qualification:
A student who has completed Diploma in Teaching Tamil will be exempted from the first year of Bachelor of Arts in Tamil studies.
